Partner Program Terms
Last updated: November 8, 2026
These terms apply to everyone who takes part in the Barbil Tours Travel Partner Program (the “Program”): travel advisors, agencies, hotels and concierges, rental hosts, creators, planners and other partners (“you”). They form the agreement between you and Barbil Tours (3611, 148TH St SE, Mill Creek, WA 98012, USA) (“Barbil Tours”, “we”, “us”). By applying to the Program, or by using your partner link, page or QR code, you accept these terms.
1. Joining the Program
- You apply through our website. We review every application and may accept or decline it at our discretion; we do not have to give a reason.
- You must be at least 18, and the information you give us (name, business, contact and payment details) must be true and kept up to date in your partner account.
- Each partner has one partner ID (for example BTP-0042). Your account and link are personal to you or your business and may not be transferred or shared with other businesses.
- Joining is free. You are not required to sell a minimum number of tours.
2. How bookings are credited to you
- After approval you receive a personal partner link, a QR code and, if we agree, a partner page on barbiltours.com.
- When a customer opens your link, page or QR code, our website remembers you for 30 days on that device and browser. A booking completed online on our website in that time is credited to you.
- If the customer later opens another partner’s link, the most recent link counts (“last click wins”).
- We cannot credit bookings when the customer did not use your link, blocks or deletes cookies, changes device or browser, or books by phone, email, on another website or through a reseller — unless we have agreed in writing to record a specific booking for you.
- If your partnership covers only some tours, only bookings of those tours are credited.
- Our booking system’s records decide which bookings are credited to you. You can see your credited bookings in your partner account.
3. Commission
You earn a commission on each credited booking at the rate for your level:
| Level | Commission | How you reach it |
|---|---|---|
| Partner | 10% | Approved / initial level |
| Preferred | 12% | Consistent monthly production |
| Gold | 15% | Higher monthly production |
| Platinum | 18% | Strategic / high-volume account (or negotiated) |
- Your current level and rate are shown in your partner account. A rate agreed with you in writing replaces the level rate.
- We review levels regularly and may move you to a higher level as your bookings grow. Rate changes apply to bookings made after the change.
- Commission is calculated on the tour price the customer actually pays, excluding taxes, government and park fees, booking and payment fees, tips, gift cards and vouchers, and any amount refunded.
- Commission is earned only when the tour has taken place and has not been cancelled or refunded.
- No commission is earned on bookings for your own personal travel, bookings made while your account is paused or ended, or bookings that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or break these terms.
- Amounts are in USD.
Partner referral bonus. If you refer a new partner using your referral link and they are approved, you receive USD 100.00 once their first credited booking is confirmed. If that booking is cancelled and they have no other booking, the bonus is reversed.
4. Cancellations, refunds and chargebacks
If a booking is cancelled, refunded (in full or in part) or charged back, the commission is cancelled or reduced to match. If that commission was already paid, we deduct it from your next payment, or you repay it within 30 days if no further payment is due.
5. Payment
- Commission becomes payable 30 days after the tour date, so that cancellations, refunds and chargebacks can be settled first.
- We pay payable commission once a month, normally within 15 days after the end of the month, by bank transfer, PayPal or another method we agree with you. You receive a statement by email and in your partner account.
- You must give us correct payment details and any tax form we request (for example IRS Form W-9, or W-8BEN for partners outside the USA). We may hold payments until we have them.
- You are responsible for your own taxes on commission. Where the law requires, we report payments to tax authorities (for example on Form 1099).
- If you think a booking or payment is missing or wrong, tell us within 60 days of the tour date or payment. After that, our records are final.
6. How you may promote our tours
Please promote our tours honestly and helpfully. In particular:
- Be clear you earn commission. Tell people, in a way they will notice, that you may earn a commission from bookings made through your link (as required by the US Federal Trade Commission and similar rules elsewhere).
- Be accurate. Describe tours, prices, inclusions and availability as shown on our website. Do not promise discounts, extras, refunds or guarantees we have not authorised in writing.
- Do not present yourself as Barbil Tours or as our official office, and do not register domains, social media accounts or app names that contain our brand names.
- Search adverts: do not bid on our brand names (or misspellings) in Google, Bing or other search adverts, and do not use our brand names in your advert text or display address, unless we agree in writing.
- No spam or tricks: no unsolicited email or messages, fake reviews, hidden or automatic link clicks, cookie stuffing, pop-ups that set our link without a real click, or bookings made only to earn commission.
- Suitable places only: do not place your link on content that is illegal, hateful, adult, violent, or that infringes others’ rights.
- Follow the laws that apply to you, including advertising, consumer protection, privacy and anti-spam laws.
7. Customers and bookings
- Customers book and pay directly on our website. Their booking is governed by our booking terms and cancellation policy shown at checkout. We (or the tour operator named in the booking) are responsible for the tour.
- We handle confirmations, changes, cancellations and customer service. Please send customer questions and complaints to us.
- Do not take payment from customers for our tours, or change bookings on their behalf, unless we agree in writing.
8. Our name, materials and your partner page
- While you are an active partner, you may use our name, logo, photos and texts from the partner marketing kit to promote our tours. Do not change them in a misleading way. This permission ends when your partnership ends.
- You allow us to show your business name, logo and the description you give us on your partner page and in partner listings. You confirm you have the right to let us use them. We may edit or remove text and images that do not fit our website.
9. Privacy
We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy. Your partner link uses a cookie to remember you as the referring partner. We share with you only the booking information you need to follow your commission (such as booking date, tour, value and status), not customers’ contact or payment details. You must handle any personal data you collect in line with privacy laws.
10. Pausing and ending
- You may leave the Program at any time by emailing us. We may end your partnership with 14 days’ notice by email for any reason.
- We may pause or end your partnership straight away if you break these terms, if we suspect fraud, or if your promotion could harm our reputation or customers.
- After your partnership ends, your link stops earning commission. We pay commission already earned under these terms, unless the partnership ended because of fraud or a serious breach, in which case unpaid commission linked to that conduct is forfeited.
11. Independent partners
You are an independent business or individual. Nothing in these terms makes you our employee, agent, franchisee or joint-venture partner, and you may not make commitments on our behalf. You are free to promote other companies too.
12. Liability
- Our website, booking system and partner tools are provided “as is”. We do our best to keep them working and to track bookings correctly, but we do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that you will earn any particular amount.
- Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, or loss of profit, business or goodwill. Except for fraud or wilful misconduct, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the claim.
- You are responsible for, and will cover our reasonable costs arising from, any claim caused by your promotion, your content or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes by email or in your partner account at least 15 days before they apply. If you keep using your partner link after that date, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you may leave the Program.
14. General
- These terms, together with anything we agree with you in writing (such as a special commission rate), are the whole agreement between us about the Program.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
- If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
